Hey im developing a program in java that will be multiplatform, and i was wondering if i put special characters like → or ← in my program will they show up on mac/unix computers?

Yep. Left and right keys are not that special after all. Even us linux users do use our left and right keys from time to time. LOL. I'm sure mac users would agree with me as well.
