Is there a way to use UNIX commands on a Windows machine?

At my office, we only have one test machine and it is windows and the managers dont want it changed to UNIX for various reasons

BUT there are some times where using the following commands would greatly make my job faster:

- dig

- whois or wh

- ping (unix type of ping)

thanks in advance!

Is there a way to use UNIX commands on a Windows machine?
open a command prompt (Start --%26gt; Run --%26gt; CMD)

dig not supported - use nslookup instead

ping is available

traceroute command is "tracert"

whois not supported from command line but you can always use a web browser and try any number of sites such as:
