I have to give a presentation on a Unix related topic. The problem is I have no idea what topic would be good for a ten minute presentation. Does anybody have any suggestions?

Security, stability and portability come to mind.
I suggest you look into Sun Microsystem's Solaris, OpenBSD, FreeBSD, NetBSD and other *BSD variations. Also, take a look at OS X, which is also UNIX, and take a look at GNU/HURD and GNU/Linux which are free emulations of UNIX.
